Imagine being able to bottle the moment after your freshly showered boyfriend decided to be a little late to work and jump back into bed with you for a quick romp. According to Gorilla Perfume’s blog customers have been saying that Dirty’s mix of fresh and musky scents smells like “sexy guys”. After trying it out I have to say that while the perfume is definitely unisex, they’re pretty spot on. An intense burst of spearmint upon first spray is refreshing, and when it mellows, woodsy herbaceous tones like sandalwood and thyme really shine through.
Because the perfume is nicely layered and complex, certain aspects of it are slightly more amplified when different people wear it. The spearmint seems to stay in the foreground for me, but my fiancee gets more of the heady herb undertones when he uses it, which allows us both to wear it at the same time without it being obvious. This is a plus because this stuff is so good it threatened to start a daily “Who gets to wear Dirty today?” argument between us.
Wether you buy it for yourself, or the man in your life, you should go ahead and give yourself permission to get a little Dirty.
